Ruka Hatua-Saar

This is my first season with DCDC. I was born in Aviano, Italy but raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I began my dance training as a scholarship student at the Miami City Ballet while attending Dillard Center for the Performing Arts. I was a fellowship student at the Ailey School and hold a B.F.A. in Dance from Florida State University. I am an Act So Glad Medalist and have proudly performed the works of; George Balanchine, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Alonzo King, Louis Johnson, and Jose Limon. I have served as Dance Captain for Royal Carribean International and have danced with Ballethnic, Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company and New Dance Group.
