MARLAYNA LOCKLEAR   hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has been immersed in dance since the age of 12.She began her training at City Ballet Theatre under the direction of Marjorie Yoshida and Lee Palmer. She later attended Milwaukee High School of the Arts and became a founding member of the Milwaukee Dance Connection. Ms. Locklear received her B.F.A in Dance Performance from the University of the Arts with a focus in ballet and jazz. While in college she was a member of Eleone Dance Theatre and since then went on to join Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble and Dallas Black Dance Theatre. Marlayna teaches master classes and choreographs throughout the United States and has premiered works at Oakland University, St Mary's College, Burklyn Ballet, Durham School of the Arts and Grand Valley State University to name a few.  Ms. Locklear is excited to return for a 7th season and joined the company in 2008.
